Many of us are angry about the way President Donald Trump is running the country. We marched and rallied in the thousands at St. James Park, San Jose, California on Saturday, April 5th 2025. Nationwide, this marked the biggest day of demonstrations against President Trump over the Republican’s first weeks in office.
So-called Hands Off! demonstrations were organized for over 3 million protesters nationwide at 1,200 locations in all 50 states. More than 150 groups participated. These included civil rights organizations, labor unions, LGBTQ+ advocates, veterans, and elections activists. These rallies were peaceful, with no immediate reports of arrests or violence.

I put together this video from the Hands Off Rally on April 5th 2025 in San Jose. I added a revised version of my remake of Woody Guthrie’s “All You Fascists Bound To Lose”. There were a lot of engaging and friendly people in attendance as the video shows. I hope this encourages you, and others like you, to join at upcoming events in your neighborhoods. They are safe and well staffed events.
